The Eternal Shiloh Darke Paranormal erotic romance Available from GypsyShadow Publishing ISBN: October 2007
Shameer is a cursed man, born of darkness. For three hundred years, he and his brother, Colin, have lived with a terrible curse. A treacherous witch is responsible for the curse that haunts Shameer’s every dream.
Colin has the gift of telepathy, and telekinesis. He was destined to be alive through eternity, and cursed to age slowly while watching all the evil Shameer must perform to survive. Ever since the spell, Shameer distrusts women, until he sees the lovely Jessica, and learns the danger surrounding her.
Jessica was born with a second sight to see into the future, often before it happens. She continues having crazy dreams about a past impossible to know. At times it is like a dream of going to a home where she has always belonged. Her good friend, Chelsea, is the sister she never had.
When she and Chelsea run into jeopardy, Colin and Shameer are the ones that come to the rescue. Shameer finds Jessica quite captivating. As Jessica and Chelsea get acquainted with Colin and Shameer, they learn of the curse. When Jessica wants to offer help by working a spell she has never done, it could mean doom for them, or an eternal bliss to change their life.
I found The Eternal intriguing. As I was reading about Shameer and his emotions with the witch who cast the spell on him, and the haunting feeling that lingers over him, I could practically feel that same trepidation. Shiloh Darke sketches descriptions, and expressions, of the characters that make them believable. I absolutely love the matching of the couples. They are charismatic in their actions with a vibrant energy making this read so interesting. Shameer and Jessica, Colin and Chelsea mix some romance and fascination into the storyline giving the story that certain pizzazz. This well-written tale hooked me from the beginning. With a great plot, and a myriad of in-depth characters, this fast-pace story is marvelous. Overall rating: Sensuality rating: Very sensual Reviewer: Linda L. November 20, 2008
Reviews for Eternal Moon:
MR Review Eternal Moon by Shiloh M. Darke
Darmetheus, a member of the Eternals, feels the need to get away for awhile. After all, he has been helping protect humanity for eons. Loading up his bike he heads down the highway to Boulder where he senses danger. "When he stopped at the first traffic light, he felt a strange sense of foreboding. It was too quiet within this sleepy, not so little town...The twenty-four hour Walgreens was even closed...Something was wrong. Totally wrong. He could smell it." There was no one around, until he scents a werewolf. More than one. Eight, in fact. As he swiftly morphs into a wolf himself, he takes off into the forest.
Lillith lives in the cabin she always spent summers in; above Boulder on a dirt road away from everyone. She feels safer there, especially with all the girls disappearing like they have been. And they all have one thing in common - they aren't common. They are each psychic, Wiccan, all talented in one way or another. When she realizes something has gotten through the wards she prepares for battle. She isn't expecting a naked man to burst through her door!
Darmetheus knows the danger she is in. He is also falling in love with Lillith but refuses to acknowledge this. Loving his sister and brothers all those years ago didn't keep him from losing them and this danger is almost overwhelming. Little does he know that before it is over he will see them both - just not in the way expected.
Eternal Moon was an excellent book! I was actually sad it had to end. The plot was very original, the Eternals reminded me of Highlander in a way and Lillith was a perfect heroine/damsel in distress. I highly recommend this book and will look for more by Shiloh Darke as soon as I close this review.
ETERNAL MOON SHILOH DARKE
February 2009 Rating: 5 Cups
Darmetheus is the chosen but at the cost of his sister’s life and his brother, Fallon’s, love. He is honored to serve as protector of the fragile humans, but he has been alone for centuries. An unscheduled road trip leads him to the woman selected to be his. Lilith has been fighting for her survival for what seems like forever. Slowly, the women of Boulder who have the slightest psychic ability are disappearing. Through her druid lineage she has been able to ward off the demons and protect her home. Her fear prevents her from realizing that Darmetheus is the answer to her prayers. The evil that Darmetheus and Lilith face is a little more personal than either realizes. The brother from Dar’s past sold his soul for revenge, and now he has found the way. The only way to survive is for Darmetheus and Lilith to work together and use both of their powers to survive.
Eternal Moon is a devastating story that explores just how much special powers can lead to loss and pain. Everyone assumes blessed people are problem-free, but Shiloh Darke demonstrates how with every blessing, there are sacrifices to be made. Darmetheus is a wonderful hero because he is willing to pay the price for his power with unending strength of character. I loved how the sister’s ghost interferes as much as possible to help the hero and heroine prevail and to save the evil brother from a fate worse than death.

Eternal Moon (The Order Of The Eternals: Book 2) by Shiloh Darke
"An age-old tale of good versus evil--with a supernatural twist!"
Our story begins with a funeral. The family of the deceased— a girl—is at the gravesite. The father is devastated by the death of his daughter. The eldest—a son—is wracked with guilt. The middle child—another son—is filled with hate and anger.
See, the oldest—Darmetheus—was chosen to become an Eternal—supernatural warriors against evil things that go bump in the night. The girl had the gift of healing. All she had to do was lay hands on someone and they would be cured. But the middle child—Fallon—had no special talent at all. When Darmetheus was changing for the first time, unfortunately, Tessah tried to "heal" him and ended up being bitten for her trouble. When Tessah went through her first change, well, she didn't survive. So now, Fallon blames Darmetheus for Tessah's death. After raging at his brother, Fallon runs away. He ends up being surrounded by voices—voices which promise him the revenge he wants so much. The only thing it will cost him is his soul. Then we jump forward in time several centuries. After a particularly fierce battle, Dar decides to take a vacation. So he hops on his bike—a vintage Harley—and heads to a town he knows in Colorado. When he gets there, he's pretty shocked.
Everything is closed and there are no lights on anywhere. It's like the town becomes locked down as soon as it gets dark. As he's wondering what is going on, he begins to sense another presence and it's not a good one. The next thing he knows, he's surrounded by Demon wolves. Now Dar is pretty powerful—after all, he's been around for a long, long time—but not strong enough to take them all on. After taking out one or two of the Demon wolves, he runs and ends up at a cottage. For some reason the Demon wolves won't come near the cottage. He's wounded and naked.
Lilith has noticed that people have been disappearing from her town for a while now. The men are always returned—dead and half-eaten. Unfortunately, the women are never seen again. One thing Lilith has noticed—whoever is taking the women seems to go after only those with "special" talents.
Sadly for Lilith, she has some special talents of her own. The latest to go missing was Lilith's cousin. Luckily, Lilith has managed to put a protective circle around her cottage and has been safe so far. When a naked wounded man shows up at her home, Lilith feels she has no choice but to bring him in and help him. Of course, she's not stupid, so she chains him to the wall overnight.
The attraction between these two is strong. And, naturally, Dar decides to stay and fight the Demon wolves. Lilith isn't pleased by this, but what else can she do?
Will Dar and the other Eternals be able to defeat the Demon wolves? Who is the leader of the Demon wolves and why are they abducting women? Will Dar be able to get over the guilt of his sister's death and realize Lilith is his Chosen? Is there a hope for these two to have a relationship?
ETERNAL MOON is a thrilling story of good versus evil. Shiloh Darke has taken all the things that go bump in the night and split them into two very distinct and separate groups—good or evil. We have Eternals—the good guys—who range from werewolves to wizards and vampires to the bad guys—Evil—mostly demon spawn. We have Lilith, a very modern woman who has never been able to have a relationship with a man due to her special talents, finding herself falling for Dar.
Then we have Dar, a man tortured by the death of his sister. He has sworn to never try and find his Chosen because he fears the same thing would happen to her which happened to his sister. So not only are these two fighting for their lives against the Demon wolves, they are also trying to come to grips with their growing feelings for the other.
All in all, an enjoyable read and one I would recommend to all lovers of supernatural creatures.

Title: Beauty’s Stone Beast Author: Shiloh Darke Publisher: GypsyShadow Publishing Published date: May 2009 Genre/Theme: Beauty's Stone Beast Series, Erotica, Romance Length: 31 pages
Review
Shiloh Darke takes us into a dream world in Beauty's Stone Beast. This is a good face paced story to read. Rachel is left a beautiful castle when her grandmother dies. With this castle she gets the four stone statues that protect the castle. These are not your every day ordinary statues. They are men who were cursed to a life of stone until a woman that can truly love them comes along and breaks the curse. They can only come to life in their human form at night time. Arthamel is Rachel's soul mate, although she doesn't know this yet. He comes to her in a dream form at first as to not scare her away. He wants her to gradually get to know him. The next night he comes to her while she's awake. Things progress and Rachel wants to break the curse. Arthamel cannot tell her how. She has to figure it out on her own. The thing that she has to do to break this curse is unimaginable. 7. I couldn't believe it. It is actually kind of funny. I would recommend this story if you are looking for a fast read. It was just a little fast paced. I think with a little more story it could be a 5 smacks, but overall I enjoyed the story and would recommend it. Beauty’s Stone Beast 1 is a delightfully compact romance filled with magic and hope.
The beginning of the story is a well done mix of telling to set up the story environment without being staid or plodding. It moves right along and puts a reader exactly where he/she needs to be to get the full effect of this book. That’s when the fun starts.
Rachel is thrust from a loving and secure family existence into the unknown upon the death of the two closest people in her world. She latches onto the good memories and returns to a place where she’d recovered once before. It was easy to believe in Rachel’s acceptance of the paranormal because of her past. The author manages to resist getting mired in unnecessary angst by virtue of her clever and well written set up early on. I was able to enjoy Rachel’s dreams and her ultimate act. What could have been straight kink ended up as exciting, brave and a bit of fun.
Arthmael is a cursed man, and like all good curses in all the best fairy tales, the love and strength of a woman’s true love is the key to release. He’s a character, though obviously tortured and in great need, that I think could have been developed just a tad more. But on the whole, the author concentrated on the aspects that were vital to the telling of the tale, so I can’t fault that. I guess I liked Arthmael and wanted to get into his head better.
The ultimate HEA requires a rather unusual method for breaking the curse and I blushed at the thought.
The author also threw in a secondary character curve that I thought was rather sweet. I know there is going to be another story coming up because of the others. Well, there simply has to be and I hope Ms. Darke explores the how’s and why’s of the grounds keeper. I think it’s a story in and of itself.
All in all, Beauty’s Stone Beast is enjoyable, light, romantic and endearing. A well told story for those days you want a glass of wine and a quick read sure to leave you upbeat and happy.

Can Tarrah love Bastian as he is once she finally sees what he is? Will she know when her test comes and can she pass this test to free Bastian?
Shiloh Darke writes a great story that entices the reader into her world and keeps them enthralled until the end of the story. I loved the depth of the love that Tarrah and Bastian feet for each other even before they met in person. The trust that Bastian puts in Tarrah is a wonderful thing and she does not disappoint. Tarrah loves with her whole heart and no matter what, she loves Bastian in any form and is set on proving it to him.
This story was a great and quick read. I cannot wait to see which brother the next installment will be about. Definitely a not to be missed book, I will be on the look out for more from this author.
Patricia’s Desire Book Three of Beauty’s Stone Beast Series by Shiloh Darke Publisher: Gypsy Shadow Publishing Genre: Contemporary, Paranormal Length: Short Story (53 pgs) Other: M/F Rating: 4.5 cherries Reviewed by Mistletoe
A Love to Protect
Corentin, the third brother cursed to live as a Gargoyle has given up on love. He knows not if it will ever come to him and he does not believe himself worthy of it.
When Patricia flees an abusive boyfriend to find her way to her best friends, who have invited her to come to France, the last thing she expects is to find is love in the arms of a gentle giant.
Amidst the painful memories from their pasts, they find a passion that consumes them from the beginning. It forces both of their reservations and fears to the side as love finds its way into not only their hearts, but their very souls.
When Patricia has finally had enough of her abusive boyfriend she decides to join her best friends in Paris. Is she brave enough to try and get away from David? Can Patricia make it away from him or will David stop her?
This short story was definitely a page-turner for this reader. I was pulled in to the story right from the beginning. Patricia is a very strong-willed and smart woman. With the help of her two best friends she is fighting her way back to herself and to the way she was before. Corentin is a great hero. He comes off as brooding and mean but underneath it all, he has a heart of gold. It seems that he needs a bit of coaxing to bring it out again and hopefully Patricia will be the one to do that.
Both Corentin and Patricia each carry their own baggage that they must deal with before they can even begin to look for love. Watching the relationship between the two blossom and heal each other’s hurts was a great read. The love that Patricia and Corentin share shines right off of the pages. I enjoyed seeing Patricia regain what she lost with the help of her friends. The love that is shared between the friends is a wonderful touch. The girls are inseparable and care greatly for each other, just as the brothers do, creating a bond of love and trust that no one can tear apart.
With characters full of emotion, and depth, Shiloh Darke once again does a wonderful job. Each of the stories in this series has been a great read and I am eagerly waiting to see what is in store for us in the next installment. I happily give this book 4 cherries.
